Registration is open
April 29- May 3, 2014, Nairobi, Kenya
It is with great pleasure that I announce the opening of the registration for ICCM-Africa at http://iccm-africa.org/
Because we are still getting our finance infrastructure in place (most of the current ICCM leaders live outside Kenya, so processing the finances has some additional quirks), we are handling registration in two parts. You submit a pre-registration application, and we will respond with discussions on payment options. Those inside Kenya will have their registration “finalized” when they have paid, but those from outside Kenya will be considered registered when we have confirmation of their air-travel. (Most international travelers will bring their payment with them and pay at the door)
ICCM-Africa is the African incarnation of the International Conference on Computing and Mission. Hosted at Pan African Christian University, in Nairobi, Kenya, ICCM-Africa is priced for nationals (a base registration of about $100US) without losing an ounce of what makes ICCM an ICCM. It should be comfortable and enjoyable for expats and Africans alike.
Keynote Speaker: Duncan Olumbe
Topics include Windows Server 2012, Linux, Networking, Security, Mobility, and more.
PAC University is a beautiful, clean, and safe compound in the northeastern part of Nairobi, Kenya. The campus’ natural beauty offers the perfect environment for academic excellence and spiritual formation. PAC University is very cosmopolitan with students, staff and faculty drawn from Kenya and other nations of the world, different denominations, ages and tribes. It is situated within walking distance of Thika Road Mall, but still is in a quiet enough neighborhood but yet does not feel too secluded. PAC University was chosen because it is an African university, not a Western one, allowing ICCM to be both priced for Africans, and to fit the African culture.
